Eye Trends is a full-service one-stop optometry practice in Clear Lake (Houston), offering comprehensive and medical eye exams, contact lenses, and eyewear. Reading about those services here is not the same as being seen. Nothing on this site takes the place of a comprehensive or medical eye exam and a professional diagnosis from Dr. Hyder. If you have a question about your eyes or your vision, the right next step is to come in and be examined in person.

No doctor-patient relationship

Visiting this website, sending us a message, or filling out a form does not, by itself, create a doctor-patient relationship. That relationship begins when you become a patient and Dr. Hyder examines you in person.

In an emergency

If you are having an eye emergency, such as a sudden loss of vision, an injury to the eye, severe pain, or anything that feels urgent, do not wait for a reply through this website. Call our office at (281) 488-0066 during opening hours, or seek in-person care right away. In a life-threatening emergency, call 911.
