Where to find us
We’re on Bay Area Blvd, and there’s parking at the door
Eye Trends Vision & Glasses Center is at 515 Bay Area Blvd #300, Houston, TX 77058 — the same address we’ve been at since 1984. It’s a short hop off I-45, and you can park a few steps from the entrance rather than circling a garage.
Below you’ll find directions from the main routes, what the building looks like when you pull up, our hours, and what to bring to a first visit. If it’s easier to just ask, call (281) 488-0066 and a real person picks up.

When you pull up
What to look for when you arrive
You’ll recognise us by the Eye Trends sign across the front of the brick building, with the storefront windows below it. Parking sits directly in front, and the entrance is straight ahead from the lot — no stairs, no side doors to hunt for. If you’ve pulled in and you’re not sure, call (281) 488-0066 and we’ll talk you in.
Before you come in
What to bring to your visit
- Your vision or medical insurance card — we’ll check your benefits for you
- Your current glasses, and your contact lens boxes or prescription if you wear them
- A list of any medications you take
- Sunglasses for the drive home, if your eyes are being dilated
Most vision and medical plans are accepted. If you’re not sure whether yours is, call ahead and the front desk can usually tell you in a minute.
Who we see
Who we see in the Bay Area
We’re the neighbourhood practice for Clear Lake and the communities around it — Webster, League City, Nassau Bay, El Lago, Seabrook, Taylor Lake Village, Friendswood and Kemah. Dr. Jerry Hyder, OD has cared for families here since 1984, which means a lot of our patients are now bringing their own children through the same door.
