Will toric lenses cost more than regular contacts?

Can I get them the same day?
For many prescriptions, yes, we can send you home in trial contacts the same visit. A first toric fit sometimes takes a short follow-up to settle the lens on your eye and confirm the axis holds, and that's normal. We'd rather get it right over one more quick visit than hand you a lens that swims.
Is the fitting covered by insurance?
A contact-lens fitting is often billable, though it depends on your plan. We accept most major vision and medical plans, VSP, EyeMed, and Superior, plus medical plans like Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, and Tricare, and we're glad to help you check your coverage before you come in. If your eyes turn out to need a specialty medical lens we don't fit here, we'll say so plainly and help you find the right care rather than over-promise.
